Pistons Beat Hawks 91-81

The Pistons beat the Hawks, despite Chauncey Billups playing out of character for a stretch. He had 6 turnovers and only 2 assists, but was able to regain control of the game after Flip Saunders made him sit. The Pistons once had a 14 point lead which they blew in the third. In the third quarter The Hawks had 9 fast break points and forced 5 turnovers. The Hawks were then only down by 3. However, Tayshaun Prince made back to back plays pushing the lead up to 7. Then pushed the lead up to 11 when he made a three pointer late in the third. Tayshaun had a double-double, 17 points and 10 rebounds. He also had 5 assists. Chauncey Billups did not score in the third quarter, but scored 13 in the fourth. He finished with 23 points. Rip Hamilton had 19 points. Antonio McDyess had 10 points and 3 blocks.
