The Wizards had the lead at the end of the first quarter in Wednesdays game against the Pistons. They were up 1 and led 27 - 26. However, the Pistons came back to win the second quarter by 10. They led 57 - 47 at halftime. Tayshaun Prince had 2 buzzer beaters in the second quarter, and Jason Maxiell dunked one off of Tayshauns miss in the third. The Pistons led 84 -72 at the end of the third. In the fourth quarter, the Pistons led by as many as 20. Rip Hamilton led the way with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists. Jarvis Hayes finished with 12 points, shooting 70 % in 4 games. Jason Maxiell had 15 points and 7 rebounds. Tayshaun Prince had 11 points and Chauncey Billups had 16. The Pistons beat the Wizards 106 - 93.
